36x48 I began with a desire to create impressions of winged creatures—not quite formed. As is always the case, something else began to express and imaginings were born onto canvas. It was inseminated with the light of delight and colorful entities and energies as whimsical and ethereal as the winged creatures themselves. I brought them into our world and they, in turn, brought their world along with them. An entirely different realm revealed itself. This painting is a reminder that imagination, while wildly misunderstood, can’t be reduced to a childhood tool.
